First Night – Deep Connection 2023+FLAC

Estonia’s FIRST NIGHT pleasantly surprised with their self-titled debut in 2019 and the almost 4-year wait for the follow up has been excruciating, but “Deep Connection” is finally here and it does not disappoint at all.

“Deep Connection” effortlessly blends influences from all sides of the AOR genre such Scandinavian-like keyboard / synth flourishes, ’80s German-style clean vocals, pristine guitar lines akin the Canadian sound, plus, on few tracks some bite from Bristish AOR circa 1987, and of course, American seesaw into the choruses build. There are 13 tracks on the new record, “It’s On Feeling”, “Is Your Love Alive?”, “Someone”… just pick your favorite as all are good, emotional classy AOR with a 1987 production style.

On “Deep Connection” FIRST NIGHT have obviously learned to master time travel.
It’s a shame the music business is the way it is these days because First Night’s music deserves to be heard in arenas to the biggest audiences.
