Blue Effect ist eine 1968 gegründete tschechische Band. Nachdem in den 1970er Jahren das kommunistische Regime in der Tschechoslowakei mehrere Bands zwang, englische Namen abzulegen und tschechische anzunehmen, hieß die Gruppe zeitweilig Modrý efekt, M.
