Novak – Forever Endeavour (2005)

Novak is the solo project of Andreas Novak. It is essentially a side-job for Andreas who also appears with progressive metal band Minds Eye alongside his musical partner Daniel Flores. You can be assured that this is not a progressive metal outing, but an excellent slab of hard rock/AOR. Despite both chaps doing most of the work, guest slots have been opened up for a raft of guest musicians to strut their stuff on Novak's songs. Yes, the songs.. they range from pure AOR to the modern style of melodica being practiced by so many of the Frontiers and MTM flock. Andreas voice is very good for this style, and though perhaps not in the same class as Goran Edman or Thomas Vikstrom, the whole package for 'Forever Endeavor' comes together very nicely indeed. It has smatterings of Radioactive, Alfonzetti, and Street Talk throughout. Hopefully that will give you something to go on.
