I have the Ryko remaster of most of Bowie's early albums. I'm not that impressed and think they're quite lacking in the bass department, especially the Aladdin Sane one. I've compared them to the original RCA CD, the 24 remaster and the 30th Anniversary one, and I prefer any of them to the Ryko. I avoided other Ryko CDs for this reason.
Designed for the most discriminating audiophile, The Ryko David Bowie Golden Years 24k Gold Collection features 20 bit mastering for exceptional sound; 24k gold foil rather than the standard (oxidation vulnerable) aluminum, and special packaging.
David Bowie releases on Rykodisc. Not counting Fame '90 or The Singles. It's my list, dammit. * All LP release should be designated USA & Canada. * Ryko LP releases for first three albums included black and clear (limited edition) vinyl. The next six releases were clear vinyl only.
