The Doors Are Open ist eine Schwarz-Weiß-Dokumentation aus dem Jahr 1968 über die amerikanische Rockgruppe The Doors. Es wurde von Jo Durden-Smith für Granada TV produziert und von John Sheppard inszeniert und am 4. Oktober 1968 erstmals in Großbritannien ausgestrahlt.

Synopsis. Sex, death, reptiles, charisma and a unique variant of the electric blues gave the Doors an aura of profundity that has survived the band's demise. In September, 1968, The Doors gave a history making performance at The Roundhouse in London's Chalk Farm.
