In this article, we ask Hitsujibungaku about their recent contract with a major label, and the production and release of their new album POWERS, filled with their troubles, as well as their hopes. The trio also shares their experience with online live performances and the making of POWERS.

Hitsujibungaku is a Japanese alternative rock band formed by Moeka Shiotsuka, Yurika Kasai and Hiroa Fukuda.

HitsujiBungaku was created in 2011, Moeka was then 15 years old and starting high school. In this early version, the band evolved according to the school calendar and the first recordings were made during vacations. Shiotsuka later attended Tokyo's Keio University.
