Long Earth – An Ordinary Life 2024

An Ordinary life is the third album by Long Earth. It addresses life as a three act play. Most of us experience the same things - growing up, leaving home, finding a place in society, finding a home. We form friendships, fall in and out of love, start a families. We encounter good times, bad times and face up to heartbreak and inevitably death.

And taxes! We all have hopes and we dare to dream. We endure political uncertainty & upheaval, manipulated by those we elect to serve us. We all witness war, whether at close quarters or vicariously via the media, because there is always a war somewhere. These themes are explored across 65mins of melodic prog rock, releases July 5, 2024

Long Earth is al veertig jaar in de maak. Het gezelschap maakt muziek die diep geworteld is in de (neo-) progressieve rock van de jaren 80 en 90. Hun geluid ligt duidelijk in de lijn van bands als Comedy Of Errors, Abel Ganz, Egdon Heath en bijvoorbeeld Final Conflict. Tja, als je het dan hebt over schaduwen…
