Queen's first live album, Live Killers, compiles performances from the band's European Tour from January to March 1979. Released in late June 1979, the album peaked at #3 in the UK and went double platinum in the US, reaching #16 on the Billboard chart.

This 2003 update of "Queen Live Killers" on CD features the latest digitally re-mastered sound, created for the Japanese re-issue in 2001, from the 1979 analogue production master mix tapes. The packaging is based on the vinyl LP artwork from 1979 and includes all the original sleeve notes.
