The new album is musically the most aggressive Lordi albom.Semena new approach to music Lordi were originally planted and inspired engineering and cruel way Otus former drummer of the band Lordi played songs. For the first time in the history of Lordi, Mr. Lordi was not the one who set up the tone of the upcoming material. Amen wrote 3 riffs in the spring of 2011 inspired by the late models Otus »drum. These reefs have become a musical guidelines album BEAST OR BEAST.Posledny album marks the recording debut of new members of Lordi, a keyboardist Hella (replacing Ava) and drummer Mana (instead Otus). 2012 marked two anniversaries for Lordi, as the year of the 20th anniversary of the birth of the group and the 10th anniversary of the release of their debut album Get Heavy.

To Beast or Not to Beast is the sixth studio album of Finnish rock band Lordi, released on 1 March 2013. As is traditional for the band, their costumes were renewed again for the release of this album. The album was produced and mixed by Michael Wagener and engineered by Shani Gandhi.
