WakeUpCall – Batteries Are Not Included 2012

Born in 2009 in Rome the italians WakeUpCall (Tommy on vocals, Olly on guitar, Dario on bass and James on drums), and after a demo self-titled recorded in 2011 and several live appearances alongside artists such as Winger, Heaven's Basement and Pino Scotto, come at last to debut in the long run in October 2012.
The new "Batteries Are Not Included", self as more and more often the case in the field of hard 'n' heavy, looks good from the box (although the artwork a bit 'grim let imagine a much more dark and heavy music) and a After inserting the disc into the player the feeling does not change. Batteries are not included meint in diesem Fall wohl: Es fehlt an Energie. Und so dürfte der Wakeupcall im Wesentlichen ungehört verhallen. Wie bei solchen Alben üblich kommen die (relativen) Hits in der ersten Hälfte. Insbesondere der Titelsong ist richtig schön packender Pop Punk.
