The Flying Eyes – Lowlands 2013

Clearly the late 60s and early 70s shine through and an actual continuation of these sounds.Obviously a dedicated band's sound is already found. The rear view mirrors are adjusted, but the view facing front. Not surprising that "Lowlands", the third album, has once again taken a sound change and is a little more focused, more heavy and more homogeneous than ever before.

Für mich ist Lowlands eines der Alben des an musikalischen Höhepunkten wahrlich nicht armen Jahres 2013. Reinhören kann man bei Youtube in nahezu alle Songs des Albums, das es sowohl als CD als auch als Vinyl (in unterschiedlichen Farben) gibt. Und wenn die Jungs mal in der Nähe für einen Liveauftritt vorbeikommen - hin da, das lohnt ...

Nach einem Wechsel zu Noisolution, erschien hierüber im Jahr 2013 das Album Lowlands. Stil. Laut laut.de spiele die Band eine Mischung aus Jefferson Airplane, The Beatles, Iron Butterfly und Cream. Der Gesang erinnere an Jim Morrison. Die Musik sei dabei an der aus dem Ende der 1960er Jahre orientiert.
