Who would have thought in 1985 David "Japan" Sylvian would take such a radical departure from new wave pop int the darker murky waters of post pop ambient hinterlands. Well it worked! You have here on this gem, jazz musicians Kenny Wheeler, Jon Hassell, Percy Jones(Brand X) as well as keyboardist Sakamoto combining nuance and minimalist.
