Vanden Plas – Chronicles Of The Immortals – Netherworld 2014

Progressive metallers Germanos, Vanden Plas, will release a new full-length under the title "Chronicles Of The Immortals - Netherworld" which will be released tentatively in Februar 2014.

This will be the eighth album by the band and successor to his 2010 album "The Seraphic Clockwork". The LP will be divided into 10 themes and conceptual cut will be based on the book "Chronicle of Unsterblichen" written by W. Hohlbein

The story evolves around an immortal being who desires only to be human, but is incapable of sharing his life with mortals. While wandering through the centuries searching for peace, he is confronted by a dark shape-shifter with the temptation of giving up his humanity forever to become a god.

The Vanden Plas of 2014 however, is a very different beast. Over the years, the band have become increasingly interested in the theatre, becoming more and more involved with stage shows and rock musicals. 'Chronicles Of The Immortals: Netherworld' takes the concept story idea to a whole new level.
