Mit „Pariah's Child" liefern SONATA ARCTICA eine insgesamt gute Platte ab, die die Hardcore-Fans der frühen Bandphase zumindest teilweise besänftigen dürfte, auch wenn die musikalische Entwicklung der Band es schlichtweg unmöglich macht, eine authentische Zeitreise in die Anfangstage zu unternehmen.
