In short, it's nothing but a rip-off, with no desire to bring us any new songs, any better sound quality or any new info about the much-loved French ye-ye girls. The title is stolen from 'Swinging Mademoiselle', an excellent, well-known bootleg comp from 1999, which gives you some idea of how lazy and unoriginal this comp is.

Swinging Mademoiselle, Vol. I & II, which compiles girl group tracks from 1965-1968, is one such collection. I was hipped to this around the same time as the Ultra Chicks pop and garage rock comps covering the same time period — which themselves are very much worth looking into (they are now up to six volumes).
