Monday, July 30, 2018 PYRAMID - First Stone (Sfinx, 1978) International relevance: *** Swedish vocals, English vocals A hard rock band from Gothenburg with a horn section atypical to the genre which makes "First Stone" fairly original despite the unimaginative songs.

1978 Vinyl LP SPLP 10001 CooperBolan I don't find this only Pyramid LP to be anything special. This Swedish band made just this one LP and it was a private pressing. The band plays progressive rock with some jazzy elements here and there. There are also clear hard rock influences as well.
