Slash Puppet – Slash Puppet (1993)

Slash Puppet fhailed from Toronto formed in 1987 with two releases. Their self-titled debut album came out in 1993 from Fringe Product, being one of the rarest and most sought-after hair metal albums in Canada, an absolute must for fans of Babylon A.D., Wildside (Under The Influence), Asphalt Ballet and Spread Eagle. With huge vocals and production, the ballsy anthem, “When The Whip Comes Down”, guaranteed to rip your head off with just one listen! The production on this song alone is amazing and the backing vocals are bigger than Sebastian Bach’s ego.

by Mif (vocals), Frank Bartoletti (guitar), Lou Garscadden (guitar), Pete Dove (bass) and Franklin Wyles (drums), Slash Puppet would play their debut show on October 1989 at Rock 'N' Roll Heaven...

Slash Puppet (1993-1995) Following the success of the underground release of "The Demo" the band began work on a more official debut with their self-titled record "Slash Puppet". Initially after recording the band was unhappy with the final result claiming the production was "way too Bryan Adams" and lacking in power.
