Dean Wallace – Metal Family 2014

Dean Wallace begins to play guitar at the age of 14 by playing cover songs of his favourite bands : Pantera , Megadeth , Iron Maiden , Metallica ... but not wanting to stay in this logic, he starts to compose his own songs quite quickly. His style combines the power of Heavy Metal with catchy melodies. In September 2011, his repertoire is rich enough to create his band, « Whymper ». Together, they run on the local scene during two years. But the band will not only be noticed on the scenes of Lyon or Geneva.

Plakatives Artwork und arg klischeebehafteter Titel, so richtig viel Mühe scheint sich DEAN WALLACE in dieser Hinsicht nicht gegeben zu haben. Doch der erste Eindruck täuscht zumindest ein wenig, denn musikalisch kann man dem Multitalent keine allzu großen Vorwürfe machen. So gibt es auf "Metal Family" wirklich netten, aber auf langer Sicht ...
