On 2014's The Unseen Cord, Salem Hill delivers an album with five good songs sandwiched in between two great ones. The playful opening track Float and the beautiful epic Noon are some of my favorite tracks from the band. The album's atmospheres range widely from serene to moody, and from sweet to bitter.
