Gandalf’s Fist – Uprooted (2015)

To celebrate the tenth anniversary of his artistic career, the musicians of the English band Gandalf's Fist released this retrospective compilation. All tracks are arranged in chronological order, starting with the very first demo in 2005 and then with each subsequent album. And for the first three songs were remixed. There have also been rewritten, some instrumental parts in the following tracks in total refurbish, embellishing and released a jubilee book.

They didn't choose the obvious tracks for every album (which, in my ears, would be "Emerald Eyes" from "Road to Darkness" for example), but seemed to choose the "not jumping at your ears at first, but ...

UK act GANDALF'S FIST is the creative vehicle of duo Luke Severn and Dean Marsh, with varying musicians, compatriots and otherwise like-minded people affecting the proceedings apparently. And while their MySpace site inform that they currently reside in Mordor, Cumbria in England is the home turf of this act.
