Gebürtig aus Shanghai, wächst Tina Guo in den USA auf. Weltweite Bekanntheit erlangt sie als Cellistin in der Hausband des legendären Filmmusik-Komponisten Hans Zimmer.

In 2015, Guo will be featured with Video Game Music Band Critical Hit, performing at most of the Wizard World Comic Cons. She featured in Baroque rock group Vivaldianno's "City of Mirrors" Tour which appeared in arenas throughout Europe in June 2015. Guo performing with Beyond the Black at Wacken Open Air 2019
