David A. Saylor – City Of Angels (2012)
David A Saylor moved to the UK from the US in the early 1980s to concentrate on his music career, playing new wave pop and fronting various melodic rock bands in the Birmingham and Midlands area. His sample of influence ranges from Asia, Journey, Boston and Foreigner, and Survivor and all styles of classic rock. In 1987 David co-formed the band Push UK and came very close to securing a major label deal. The 1990s saw a change for him in a new music direction and he found success as a solo artist in the Spanish speaking territories and he achieved music awards and gold records. Never turning his back on the declining state of melodic rock,
he contributed backing vocals to the following albums: Atlantic - Power, Siam - Language of Menace, Wraith - Riot. 2010 saw the original demos made by the Push UK title Strange World pressed officially onto CD by newly formed label AOR BLVD Records of London UK. David A Saylor's 'City Of Angels' delivers a majestic solo album which will please any serious lover of the genre of pure AOR!

A Rocktopia / Fireworks Magazine album review by Ian Johnson: David A. Saylor is a Spanish/American singer songwriter who has worked on many pop and west coast rock recordings over the years. However looking for a new challenge David decided to move to the UK in the early 80's, where he made a name for himself fronting a hatful of pop and melodic rock bands.
