RAMPART – CODEX METALUM 2016

RAMPART is a Female Fronted Heavy Metal act from Bulgaria, founded in 2006 and led by the singer Maria Diese. Many worthy musicians gave their contribution in building this fortress of Metal on the Balkans.

After 3 full length studio albums and touring in most of the European countries, showing up on different festival stages and because of the classic songwriting, RAMPART managed to establish their position as one of the hardest working bands of the genre. The hard work of RAMPART allowed the band to participate in festivals in Germany, Greece, Sweden, Belarus, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Serbia, Turkey, France, Belgium and had the pleasure to share the stage with bands like QUEENSRYCHE, FLOTSAM AND JETSAM, ANVIL, SCANNER, UDO DIRKSCHNEIDER, BLAZE BAYLEY, HATE, ARKONA, WITCHBURNER, GODSLAVE, CRIPPER, PICTURE, WIZARD, LONEWOLF and many more.

Now, RAMPART has finished the work for fourth album „Codex Metalum”, CD was mastered by Arne Lakenmacher (GAMMA RAY, DORO, STORMWARRIOR) at High Gain Studios (Hamburg, Germany).

It features 9 tracks full of energy, epic and speed heavy metal, and a bonus track – a cover song of BLIND GUARDIAN. A loud Metal On to all real fans of timeless Heavy Metal.
