Der ungestüme Hard Rock war derweil mal Geschichte und mit Sänger David Coverdale ersetzte eine absolute Soul-Granate die wilde aber grandiose Rockröhre Ian Gillan. Dazu brachte sich Neo-Bassist Glenn Hughes ebenfalls vokal ein, und das alles andere als schlecht!
