am a guitar player, composer and teacher based in Parma, Italy.I began playing instruments in my early teens; I played briefly bass and drums before choosing the guitar as my main instrument. To this day I am deeply interested in all stringed instruments, especially the plucked ones.

Lelio Padovani - Waves (19:52, Mini-CD, Eigenproduktion, 2016) Lelio Padovani ist ein aus Parma stammender Gitarrist, der sich uns mit einem Mini-Album vorstellt, das vier im Alleingang eingespielte Kompositionen mit Spielzeiten zwischen vier und sechs Minuten enthält.

Italian composer and guitar teacher Lelio Padovani has the fluidity of Steve Vai mixed with prog inklings of Steve Wilson. His new EP Waves is a the crossroads of progressive rock and neo-classical music. His first love is the guitar, but synths are a close second.
