Motherlode – Tomorrow Never Comes 2010
The foundation goes back to the motherlode of fr?hen zur?ck 80, joined together as members of the bands in ?rebr? Lizard and proximity. Au?er unz?hligen various demos and live performances but not much happened. The band was au?erdem gepr?gt line-up changes, and in the 90's Motherlode rested an entire decade. Only in the new millennium found the members back together and went to live. Au?erdem were closed for songs written an album that to me in the form of "Tomorrow Never Comes" is now available.
Motherlode play diverse and layered hard rock, which has its roots in the haupts?chlich 70's and 80's. The getragegenen, based on a m?chtigen groove title track "Motherlode" shine through some significant Einfl?sse of Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple. The slightly psychdelische "Crying" evokes some memories of The Doors with a touch of flower power leichtf??iger, w?hrend rifforientierte the "Bring Me Down" is a bit like Mother's Finest meets anmutet Wishbone Ash.
In all these comparisons, it must be said, however, that motherlode only get the inspiration for the rock Gr??en and then with their own ideas accumulate, combine and refine. The variety of the compositions, I must emphasize this again. There are a total of 13 tracks in less than two St?cke that ?hneln themselves. The Swedes also like to experiment with a bit of a song and f?gen times jazzy, pop, or progressive elements.
The songwriting is solid throughout. It is found in "Tomorrow Never Comes" is not a typical catchy material. Daf?r St?cke go more in depth should also convey different emotions, and always include a nostalgic touch. And this motherlode succeed. It is f?hlt closed for an hour times 30 to 40 years into the past and h?rt varied rock music from this ?ra.
This journey through time in which we take motherlode here is absolutely authentic, thus showing not only the composer but also the artisan class of the band. There is technically nothing to complain about ?berhaupt. The voice of Sonny Larsson is due to their bright sound something gew?hnungsbed?rftig initially, but he can use it incredibly flexible and adapt so well to their moods and emotions. Au?erdem he breaker fitted with lots of expression.
With "Tomorrow Never Comes" you can travel to the glorious past of the Hard Rock can be discover it worked perfectly St?cke and drift away from nostalgic Gef?hlen. A veritable treasure trove closed for Friends of the '70s and '80s hard rock. Very fitting that the album will be released on a label called Yesterrock.
