Fazit: Die Band hat meine Eindrücke aus 2009 nur noch mal bestätigt. Eine richtige Front- und Rampensau in Form von Johnny Mastro, der live auf Knien robbt oder sich rücklings auf dem Boden suhlt, um dabei seine Harp zu massakrieren, wie es wohl zurzeit kein anderer Harmonika-Spezi zelebriert!

Johnny Mastro & Mama's Boys ist eine 1994 gegründete Blues band aus Long Beach (Kalifornien) . Geschichte 1994 wurde die Band von Johnny Mastro gegründet. Erste Auftritte hatte die Band in verschiedenen Bluesclubs in Los Angeles. Ab 1996 ist sie Hausband im Babe's & Ricky's, einem der ältesten und bekanntesten Bluesclubs im Großraum Los Angeles.
