Various Artists – Classic Rock #001, Classic Cuts No.1 (1998)

Classic Rock is a British magazine dedicated to rock music, published by Future. Despite the November / December 1998 issue was meant as an on-off project it became one of the UK's best selling music magazines. In June 2018 it published its 250th issue.
Although firmly focusing on key bands from the 1960s through early 1990s, it also includes articles and reviews of contemporary and upcoming artists it deems worthy of note.
With most issues comes a compilation cd made exclusively for the issue. Some issues has included exclusive versions of new album releases by artist like Bachman-Turner, Rival Sons and Cheap Trick. Today the enclosed cd is regarded as at least as important as the magazine itself by most customers.
The magazine is today among both musicians and readers considered to be one of the most important publications about rock music in the UK.
