Forged in the vacuum between 70s occult rock, the unapologetic hard rock of the 80s and the British new wave movement, they balance on the event horizon that separates old from new. Aggression from melody. Dream of drive Continuing to realize that the members of "White Void" originally come from Norwegian black metal, chiptune electronica, as well as pop music and the blues, it becomes clear why "Anti" is a difficult album to categorize. It's melodic in a gritty way, it's driven, and it's riddled with earworms, hooks, and licks. If nothing else, though, it's its unabashedly cocky gesture that swears deep allegiance to our communal hard rock heritage.
