by Stewart Mason. If ever a project had "for serious fans only" stamped on it, it would be Glenn Hughes and Geoff Downes ' The Work Tapes. Recorded in 1991 but never finished, these ten songs were demos produced and programmed by former Buggles / Asia keyboardist Downes.

The Work Tapes is an album of demos recorded by vocalist Glenn Hughes ( Deep Purple / Black Sabbath / Trapeze) and keyboardist Geoff Downes ( Asia / Buggles / Yes ). The sessions were originally recorded in June 1991, but did not receive an official release until 1998.
