Rocket Ride überzeugt vor allem durch seine eingängigen Stampfer, die zum Mitgröhlen einladen, durch neue Sounds und durch den üblichen Edguy-Klamauk. Das Album öffnet mit dem Song "Sacrifice", das mit einem Klavier losgeht und danach im gehobenen Mid-Tempo voll aufdreht.
