Can't Buy a Thrill is the debut studio album by American rock band Steely Dan, released by ABC Records in November 1972. It was written by band members Walter Becker and Donald Fagen, and recorded in August 1972 at the Village Recorder in Los Angeles with producer Gary Katz.
Same as Steely Dan - Can't Buy A Thrill, except ""Manufactured by Record Club Of America under special license" printed at bottom right of back cover. True Sound Manufacturing Corp. pressing, per "TSM" in runout. Label Variation: Side designations are numbered and the track titles are centered. Cat # ABCX-758 appears on the label.
Released in a standard transparent jewel case with a front sticker that reads "digitally remastered by the group" and "extended liner notes by Walter Becker & Donald Fagen". 12 (6 x 2) panel foldout insert that includes liner notes, credits and lyrics. Track times do not appear on this release.
