The Muffins are an American progressive rock band from the District of Columbia formed in 1975, closely related to the Canterbury scene and the Rock in Opposition movement. The group recorded three studio albums and disbanded in 1981, but reunited in 1998. The four main members of the group are Dave Newhouse, Tom Scott, Billy Swann and Paul Sears.
