Graveshadow – The uncertain hour 2022+Hi-RES
M-Theory Audio will release "The Uncertain Hour", the third studio album by Sacramento quintet GRAVESHADOW. Featuring GRAVESHADOW's new line-up - now bolstered by new vocalist Rachl 'Raxx' Quinn, new bassist Luci Rae and new drummer Bones Padilla (ex-Cultural Warfare) - the new album brings together an enticing blend of symphonic, Gothic, doom, and epic progressive metal elements that made their 2018 album Ambition's Price a fan favorite, with the band's renewed energy fueled by the soaring, melodic vocals of Quinn and the pounding rhythm section of Rae and Bones was awarded. The returning duo of William Lloyd Walker and Aaron Robitsch once again deliver a wonderful display of guitar playing that tastefully blends burning shreds with warm melodies. Graveshadow are back on stage with a story to tell that blends melodic highs and crushing lows, taking the listener on a journey of self-discovery, loss and the will to move on.
GRAVESHADOW's latest album, 2018's Ambition's Price, was praised by Metal Utopia as "a great record with a lot of great moments for fans of Nightwish and The Birthday Massacre". Praising "Ambition's Price", Metal Nation stated that "GRAVESHADOW breathed new life into a somewhat smug and stagnant style of metal and created something vibrant and memorable." After the release of "Ambition's Price" the band gained new audiences through extensive touring with bands such as Arkona, Sirenia, Exmortus, Night Demon and Unleash The Archers.

Graveshadow 's latest album Ambition's Price established itself as an often medium-paced gothically-tainted Melodic Death Metal piece. So far so good, but for some reason, it never made it onto the RMR 'zine. Now, we laud the effort of the band to try and take it one step further with The Uncertain Hour.
