Isildurs Bane, in both English and Swedish, is one of the names for the Ring from Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Tolkien's book Lord of the Rings (the one ring is also called Isildur's Bane). The group has since 2005 been working in project form, often under the abbreviation IB.
