Dave Greenslade started playing the piano at school. Some time later, with friends John Highseman and Tony Reeves, he organized a small jazz trio that played in youth clubs. He first gained fame in the Thunderbirds, and then became famous as the keyboard player of the Colosseum.

Dave Greenslade. British keyboard player, born January 18, 1943 in Woking, England. He has played in his own eponymous band, Greenslade, and others including Colosseum, IF and Chris Farlowe's Thunderbirds. Among his works are The Pentateuch of the Cosmogony (with art by Patrick Woodroffe) and Music from the Discworld.
