This is it! Dan Savik's long awaited release of new material! Heading West was written and recorded during 2011-2012 on the Swedish west coast. The album contains a wide variety of exciting adult contemporary styles, soft rock, west coast and soul. This is an album built around skillfully crafted songs and well produced arrangements, packed throughout with melodic hooks and background vocals put to effectful use!

All in the mood and style of legends like Toto, Chris De Burgh, Don Henley and Simply Red among others.
Among the featured session musicians on this album are legendary drummer Per Lindvall (ABBA, Steve Wonder, Michael Ruff, Kylie Minogue e.g.) and guitarist Peter Friestedt (Joseph Williams of Toto e.g.) - all of whom make up a great sound for Dan's smooth voice to blend with!
